The moment he saw me, he left whatever he was doing (fighting with lil’ President over a small piece of paper) and hugged me. I carried him and sat down.. he rocked on me front and back, planting kisses as he reached my face between his rocking.
This time, when I packed to go home, he was ready to follow me.
During the red light stop of a traffic light, I turned to him and asked, “Yesterday you stayed at taatha’s house ah?”
“Yes.”
“You didn’t look for amma?”
He nodded and lied his head on my shoulder.
“Why you didn’t come home with amma? I miss you..”
He carried his head off my shoulder and said, “Now I coming your house!” opening his hand wide to show that he is with me now.
Before we started moving, Champion pulled my face and kissed me not once, not twice, but thrice on my lips! (he does this now and then when I am driving..)
Lil’ President is no less. Appa, amma and in-laws have complained that lil’ President would be normal when I am not around. But the moment I get home, he would let out a fuss cry, grab my legs, ask me to carry him and get myself seated. Then, he would start sucking his thumb, hug my arm with the hand while lying on me.
Before I arrive, anyone can carry him.
But when I have arrived, only I can carry him.
Before I arrive, he would be busy playing.
But when I have arrived, he would forget what he was doing!
Aaah! Both of them are just PURE JOY!

awww..that's so sweet...I guess that's the moment every mom looks fwd to everyday after a stressful long day at work :)
Zara is also like that.. but sometimes when she's having fun, she'll just say "hi" and go back to her playing.. :P

Kids.. even their all time favourite stuff will be overlooked when they have something more exciting to do.
But, the best part is, they get bored of the exciting thing and come back to their all time favourite.. they never forget their mummy and daddy ;)
