...for tantrums in my house!
That’s what I read..
"The period from 14 to 30 months is a peak time for tantrums.. "
Lil’ President just turned 14 months old while Champion is around 27 months old. Both of them are qualified.. imagine the drama I have at home.
Lil’ President’s style...
If standing - drops himself to the floor seated and cry;
If lying down – kick his legs vigorously and cry;
If holding something - he will throw it away;
If he gets what he was crying for – he will still throw it down and turn away.. ‘merajuk’.
Champion style...
He does the butterfly run!
I call it the butterfly run b’coz he flaps his hands and runs around crying. He doesn’t make big circles though, just around us.. Seeing him, instead of being mad, I end up laughing.
All this while Champion did not have the habit of throwing tantrums. We were able to teach him to ask properly and not demand. However, recently I noticed that he started this new habit. On top of that, he has been very sensitive.. scold him a little, he wails away. *sigh*
However, it is interesting to note that when one is throwing tantrums, the other will be calm. They are actually wondering what is happening. So, they just sit still and watch. This is actually a relieve because I don’t have to handle two demanding kids at the same time. Phew!

starry nights,
Yeah, I find it very cute too. So, sometimes I will purposely deny his request to admire his 'butterfly run' ;) *naughty*
You're right, I should enjoy this phase.. apart from being stressful sometimes, it is actually fun watching them in their own ways :)
gene lim,
Hahaha.. you are amused by Champion's style. Cute eh :)
I guess most kids will go through this stage. I agree, when they are 3, it would be worse, coz' they would undertsand things better and start reasoning with us!
Yeap, that's right. Two boys, about the same growing up phase.. I really do hope I can manage them bith well, coz' I don't have patience as well *sigh*
