Trip to pasar malam

Every time we are out in a crowded place, Champion will love to watch the children and their acts. Even while holding his hand, he will make me call out to him, to remind him to walk on.

Yesterday we went to the 'pasar malam'. We found a car park in front of the barber shop. And when Champion noticed it was the barber shop, he told me "Thambhi first". I asked him, "What thambhi first". He said, "Thambhi cut hair first". Hahahaha.. he thought they were going for another hair cut!

As usual, I had to pull him and call him from his daze of watching people so that we could catch up with apps and lil’ President.

When we arrived at the sugar cane drink stall, he stood there. He wanted to watch the loud machine and how it works. So, since he was interested, I explained to him how the sugar cane turns out into a drink...

He wanted a 'keropok', and since it was just a rice craker, we bought it for him. He wanted to hold it by himself.

We did pass a few stalls selling toys, interesting lights, etc. Champion showed interest in seeing them close. I told him, "See only". He said, "See only, ma" and pulled me closer. After having a look, we left without any objection from Champion.

Phew! Luckily he didn't make a fuss to buy any of those stuffs. I hope he continues this maturity. Then we can have decent shopping, with no fusses on what to buy and what not to buy.

Lil' President didn't have much choice, but to be carried. He did voice out for a sip of the sugar cane drink.. and many times too, until the drink finished! We had to finish it faster as we didn’t want him to drink too much and catch a cold.

Even though we didn't buy many stuffs at the 'pasar malam' (apart from the corn, 'apam balik'), I think the boys had a nice outing cum exposure.

Good boy Champion.. didn't ask mummy to buy anything.

I use the look only on Zara too when she can only look and not touch.

And she would purposely stick her head close to the object, and repeat, "look".

pasar malam is a real eye-opener and fun place to go... especially when the weather is not that hot :)

My kids associate pasar malam with cheap stickers.

zara's mama,
Yeah, especially since I have seen a lot of tantrums in shopping complexes...

Hahahha.. Cute lah she. Same here.. Champion also will tell me "Look only" looking at me and have a look.

gene lim,
Thanks.
Ooo, I don't give the boys soda/pop, I would replace it with juices. I am scared that they will get hooked with it.
Yeap, poor parents.. cannot enjoy slowly :P

egghead,
Yeap, real eye opener.. We only went to the pasar malam because the weather was cooling :)

mumsgather,
Really? Do you get it for them always? Champion is not into stickers, yet! He will go for the biscuits, kueh and balloons :P

Very well behave eh Champion?

I will usually make bb say goodbye to everything he plays or see, never really buy. :)

Not always. Too much of anything spoils the fun.
