Sweet affection

I just look forward to picking up the boys every evening after work. Once I am spotted, lil’ President will start crying, "Amma..." and crawl hurriedly to the door. He too will hold on to my legs and stretch out his hands for me to carry him.

But I am torn between two boys. Champion will shout aloud "Amma.. Hi!" and wait for me to come in, come to me and say "Amma, carry.." He will give me a hug and a big kiss (I have made it a habit for him to saying us before we part and when we meet). If he forgets or is distracted to give me the hug, he will come back to me minutes later, "Amma, I sayang you.." and give a hug and kiss.

Aaahh.. its so nice to be home in 'their' arms.

Champion has learnt to say 'I love you' better now (though not perfect). I can hear him say 'I ove you'. He will tell me ‘I love you’ when we going to bed, when I say 'I love you' to him or any other time of the day. I just love it.

What beats it all is when he gives me a spontaneous big warm hug and a long kiss for no apparent reason!!!

Yes.. that's what I like too..

When I get home.. I like to play hide and seek with her.. calling her but hiding.. and it's so nice to see her searching for me excitedly.. and then having this absolutely big grin when she spots me.

This is the rewards of working mother?

zara's mama,
Yeah, the excitement in their faces really lightens our day, even after a whole day of work :)

We won't get the same response if we were home all the time, isn't it ;)

two little fellas,
So small and powerful, aren't they? I just love for that.

egghead,
You're right, no stress when they greet me like this every evening.. I just love going home to them :)

mind curry,
Yeap, and the best part is that it is genuine..

immigrant in canada,
Yeah.. Won't we miss those affections?

I really really hope my boys will continue any simple way to express his love for me. I have to understand that boys will be shy when they are older *sigh*
