I knew I was more excited than the boys. It had been ages since I last visited the zoo. I was going, "See elephant, see girrafe, see tiger, see lion.. " while making their sounds...
Champion got to feed the elephant. Apart from watching the animals, he was also excited to see so many children.
I was busy with my camera.. trying to get some good shots. It was difficult with President in my arms. But still, here's what I got.

Apps mentioned that zoo was even open at night during weekends and public holidays. So, the next visit will definitely be during the night. It was too hot and uncomfortable during the day.. I am sure it will be a different experience to visit the zoo at night.. but not too soon. I think we shall wait for Mr. President to grow up a bit, so that he can enjoy his visit better.

Yeah.. visiting the zoo in M'sia is a really HOT EXPERIANCE.. so uncomfortable and hot yeah? What more with the CNY weather.
But it was good you saw the tigers and lions. The last we were there, they were all napping.
The zoo! How exciting. Yes, the night safari would be a good experience too. One day I will try it out. You should try the Malacca Zoo next holidays. Personally I like that one better.
By the way, the digiscrap is looking good.
i myself havent been to the local zoo..i guess it'd be a good outing with kids around...
wow, long time never visit the zoo..my fren told me it's not as interesting as taiping though..
must wait till faythe gets bigger first, or else now is more like me watching the tigers :P
When last I was at the Zoo Negara, it was a very hot and humid day, but the Italians that were my guests wanted to see, so I had to sweat it out a bit. So, I guess Zoos still serve a purpose to educate, ya? Good pics..
i would probably be just as excited as you...i can't remember when was my last visit too.
however, the weather is a big turn off tho'.
great pics!
zara's mama,
VERY VERY hot. You can say that again.
The little leafy orange is working. Yippee! :P
lian,
have you tried night safari? Hope the lighting are good enough!
Haven't tried Malacca Zoo. Hmmm, planning for a trip that far (with kids) needs a lot of consideration.. But our next trip should be when both of them are a bit older..
Thanks *bow, bow*
mom2ashley,
yeah, its fun with the kids. But I sure without kids also is fun.., but try it at night..
jazzmint,
the last time I visited the Zoo was during primary schooldays. I have heard of the Taiping Zoo too. Must visit it one day..
Yeah, at one point, it was us watching the animals, coz' the boys were getting tired.. and were more distracted by the children..
L B,
your guests must be really into nature, to want an outing in that weather!
Good timing and luck that they were around for the shots..
two little fellas,
seldom see animals in a close up, so I was all excited like any kid :P
You know, commenting on the weather, hubby and I were talking about how the Zoo management can improve the walkway conditions so that it would not be too hot..
Thanks.. lucky to get those shots :P
i love the zoo! but alas! my last visit was about 2 years ago, i think..will the animals be awake at night??
Hey finally you made it to the zoo... nice snapshots ler. :)
sfo,
hey, you visited the Zoo, after those school days. That is good.
Hmmm, that's another thing to think about.. Forgot bout that part! :P
nice shots. zoos are informative! you should be taking ur kids often! let them know more of the creatures mankind replaced..
rocksea,
thanks. Yeap, but I think I shall wait till they love to walk around themself. It was quite tiring when we had to carry them most of the time :P
