Haha.. we have a similar gate at home.. From Jusco right?
We put it upstairs, so that she won't climb down the stairs on her own.. (and also because of the design of the house, we can't install it at the foot of the stairs).
I don't think it's that easy to figure out how to open this one.. It'll take a while, and when he does figure out, he's probably old enough to go up and down as he pleases.
two little fellas, yeah, we need it for the staircase, very important. Kids, before we can blink an eye, there are every where :P
Yeah, and I hope, by then he is good at climbing staircases.
egghead, oppps, you will need more than one eye some times.. kids very fast one.. Me having two gates also, they are at unwanted corners.. imagine without..I will be running around the house following them, in two directions.. Arggh!
baby smooches, Brendan so strong ah? Or you didn't fix it tight? My bboys can't do that, or just yet ;)
zara's mama, yeap, from Jusco.. We surveyed a few places, and this was the best for us.
Sometimes the design of the house makes it difficult. Upstairs we don't need as when we are up, we close the room doors, most of the time. But guess what, Champion can open door knobs now. Luckily, now he knows to climb down the stairs, although not a pro.
I agree with you.. Champion is still figuring it out..
visithra, you wanna give him deas, you must teach him to climb down the stairs first ;P
jazzmint, we got it at Jusco, at around RM 120. Very useful, and a good one too. During my survey, I found some that may be dangerous to the kids itself, in their attempt to open it.
This type has extensions too, so it can fit any width.

i don't have any of those but i think it's very handy esp for staircase...
mr. president will soon figure out how to manipulate those bars...
we don't have anything of such barriers... that's why we had to keep at least one eye on him all the time :(
smart boy!
I have exactly the same gate that you have there. Brendan found a way to open it by pushing it till the screw came out.
