Symbol of good luck

Yesterday, after dinner, apps settled down infront of the TV with some mandarin oranges. Guess what, we found a mandarin orange with a teeny weeny leaf. Since we don't see this often, apps asked whether I wanna to take its photo (he knows, it always 'me and my camera').

Coincidentally, this morning, while reading lb's post, I found something interesting. He says that "tangerines with leaves intact is a symbol of good luck"!

Hmmm, does this leaf count? :)

You know now they have these clementines where you actually get leaves on them? They are sweeter and nicer, and of course more expensive.

Oh really? I had one too from hubby. Hope luck will come pouring in like rain...hehehe!

Oh btw, don't eat too much of that fruit, it makes one weak very easily. My maid was coughing non stop after eating that. Chinese believe, it had hidden heat and make body sick easily even though it's cooling when you eat them.

allyfeel,
lucky you.. Let's hope together!

Yeah, I was caught by it (even if I ate very few). I got 'angin' and that's when I sprained my neck and shoulder. So painful. Also can get upset stomach. But, the sprain is good enough, I stopped eating until New Year, just ate one, for more good luck :P
