Is there a runner in the house?

When appa knew there was a run for kids (organised by Giant, Malaysia), he asked to register the boys. I was excited as he was, and registered the boys for the fun run.

Appa knew Nixon could run and went on to train the boys... building up their stamina and introducing the distance to them. After weeks of training (twice/thrice a week).. the boys were ready!

Last minute tips, from trainer to trainee

Main supporters - the boys and their grandparents!

So, is there a runner in the house? Who is going to follow the footsteps of my 63 year old appa, an avid marathoner in his youth?

Hi Geetha,
What a wonderful and active way to spend a day outdoors! Looks like everyone had so much fun!

I am writing on behalf of Women's Web, an online women's magazine based out of India. We are planning on a travel series, profiling interesting women bloggers from across the world.

I came across your blog recently and I am thoroughly impressed! Would you be interested in contributing a guest post for us on some fun things that a mom and her kid can do in KL?

If you are, then please drop me a word at anne.john@womensweb.in and I'll get back to you with further details. Hope to hear from you soon!

Regards,
Anne.

Jeevan,
I think the boys grandfather was more excited about the race. He went training the day before the race.. making sure he doesn't lag behind and slow Nixon off (for the 4-6 year old category, an adult can follow beside the child)..

I was so so proud of him :)

Shan,
The boys are surely lucky :)

Anne,
Thanks :)
Luckily my boys loves the outdoors as much as I do.

Thanks for visiting my blog.. I would love to write an article for the Women Web.. Will drop u an email soon :)
