I asked Nixon what he wanted to eat, and he answered paal appam. I explained to him that it was already night time, and cannot get paal appam at that hour. I convinced him that I will make his favourite dhal curry instead.
Nevertheless, appa went taatha went to the restaurant nearby and called me on my handphone to say that they still have paal appam. Glad to fulfill his request, I asked them how many Thytus and Nixon wants each. Thytus wanted roti canai instead.
As we were serving the boys, Thytus asked for his chicken curry for his roti canai. Unfortunately, taatha forgot about his preference. So, taatha asked him to have the dhal curry for that time and was about to pour the dhall curry on his roti canai when Thytus said “TAATHA, I TOLD YOU I WON’T EAT WITH DHAL CURRY!” and started tearing.
His tone was so loud that I came from the kitchen to find out what’s the matter.
I reminded thaata to buy chicken curry the next time we go out. I wiped out the little dhal curry on the roti canai and asked Thytus to eat it.
After some time, I told Thytus that it was wrong of him to raise his voice to an elder person. He said sorry to taatha for what he did..
I have not seen him loose his cool like this!
