I hear him calling out, “Nixon, Nixon!”
I ran downstairs to open door.. there stood Thytus, still calling out to his brother, telling him that he is back.
When I was opening the gate for my eldest son, I could look into the future...
Imagining him being a teenage boy, coming home after his outing with his friends.. and parents waiting for him at home.
But at this age, he was not out with his friends, but out with my parents! He even stayed with them during the weekend... sleepover with his best friends ;)
As he was getting into the house, he reminded his taatha about his carom board.. the one that taatha and ammachi got for him while he was out shopping with them.
He was very excited of his outing (shopping and visiting people) that he was still wide awake at that hour. While I was changing him into his pyjamas, he was even telling me what he saw when he was out shopping.
I am glad that Thytus enjoys his weekend stay with his grandparents :)
Nixon is still quite attached to us, thus, he prefers to stay with us.. Sometimes, when he says he want to stay with apps and amms, he would stay.. but we can't force him. But he definitely will ask us to bring him visit his taatha and ammachi during the weekends, and he is always excited about it!
By the way, when we called Thytus earlier in the day, he told Nixon that he was going shopping. Hearing that, Nixon looked at me and said, "I want to go shopping also." Thytus on the other side of the phone told his brother "Nixon, tell our mother to bring you shopping lah..." All I could see in Thytus is that he cared for his brother.. he didn't further brag about his outing to make his brother jealous, but was trying to console him..

Hi there..
Any idea why mom2ashley is suddenly password protected?
Been following her blog since Ashley's birth and kinda disappointed she didn't inform loyal reader that she's going P&C.
Any idea how/if I can apply for permission to view the blog?
