What does not change forever?

As I grew up, I passed many levels of life, from being a dependent child, to trying to be an independent adult, and now, I am a wife and mother myself. So many things have changed around me - family, friends, career, environment, priorities, etc. But the one thing that has not changed in my life is.. parent's LOVE!

They ask me whether I feel like eating anything special.. they cook for me i.e. my favourite fish, vegetable and curry dishes. I do miss my mother's cooking :)

Now and then, they would cook/buy my all time favourites when visiting me i.e. kuih chang, red bean desert, etc. Their sweet thoughts are always touching.. I know they are thinking of me even when I am not right beside them ;)

They buy stuffs that I used to like for my sons i.e tang lung. Definitely uproots my childhood memories :)

When I visit or stay over at their place, appa would go through the trouble to make sure the house/room I occupy is not dusty. He mops, wipes and vacuums! Amma cooks my favourite dishes.. she sure knows what I likes!

Don't I still feel I am their little girl. *melting sigh*

With that, I would like to wish you Happy Father's Day Appa!

And to my dearest husband, your are great father yourself. Our kids cannot get any better appa than you!

For that, both of you get a father's day medal ;)

Here's a GOLD medal for appa, for being a great dad and another GOLD medal for apps, for being a great husband and father!

Aw.. your parents are really sweet..

My father loves us differently though. His love is defined by the money he gives us.. I guess he doesn't know how to show it any way else.
