Then she asked me how are my boys. She carried on saying that kids are a handful. She said, since I have two, it must be tough. She was saying she wouldn't mind it if the maid takes care of the children, especially at night...
Oops, that's not what I think. I told that me and apps are totally against it. We want the children to grow up with us, sleep with us. They have to get their comfort, support and confidence that their parents are always there for them. We think that is very important.
We don't mind the tough nights. Since Champion is still getting up at night. But, I told her, I am lucky that we are going through this stage very well, especially with apps assistance. He is a 'gem'. He does the night shifts u know... Very seldom daddys do this part, so I consider myself very very lucky. I can say that again and again and again. :)
We have a maid, but she only handles the house and the cleaning, so that we can have more time with the kids. Both of us handle one child each when we go out. At home, we help each other taking care of the kids.... bathing, feeding, dressing up, putting them to sleep, etc...
I think my friend will be missing all the fun watching the kids grow up... nothing like watching and experiencing it with them yourself. Its no fun just to hear from the maid that, "he started walking", "he called me kakak" (it may be his first word, instead of mama, if he grows up with the maid), "he hugs me in the sleep", and so on...
I wanna be there for them and with them in everything they do... enjoy them, cuddle them, play with them, cry with them, laugh with them. That's why we are mummys isn't it? ;)

I am proud and happy to be mummy to Champion and Mr. President. Everyday is a happier day with them...
