Lion, lion!

That's what Champion says when he sees the lion of the lion dance. Since he watched the lion dance in our neighbour's house, he is all excited about it.

On Saturday, he even pointed out the lion dance photo on the front page of the Star newspaper. "Lion, lion". So cute. Now I know he is no more afraid of the loud drumming and the big colourful lion.

I wonder whether Champion can see another lion dance. I really wanna watch it again, a whole complete show. Apps didn't get to watch the lion dance the other day (since he was working). So, he too was asking why there were no lion dance during the weekend.

Hmm, will we have to wait till next year?

Lion dance, love seeing them when I was young. I can't see any this year in my neighbourhood. Miss them so much.

Not sure where you staying but Trisha and Sasha over at Sri Hartamas is having one 19th Feb, 12 noon.
Or you could make the one out of a box like the advertisement and have your own lion dance. hehehe.
My kids, they just take a blanket or towel and throw it over their heads and do their own dance. Older girl always plays the head and younger one has to play the butt.

hey, at least you watched one. Hubby didn't get to watch any... and I heard many other didn't too. So, you're lucky dear..

Egghead,
Hmmm, good idea.Hubby was attracted to the lion head that was sold.. may be next year we can get one for the boys. Then you can come watch our lion dance show :P

jazzmint,
is it? Hmmm, may be we can just go for a casual outing there this weekend, and if we are lucky, we will catch the show.

Lian,
Champion is going over to his granparent's place this weekend, so will not be around for the show. Have to pass it. Thanks for info though...

But I can surely introduce the home-make lion dance. I am sure he will find it more interesting..

Brendan was given a 2nd hand mini lion head. It's fun to watch him doing the lion dance. You should get one for Champion next year. ;-)

Happy Valentine's Day to you too..
Hope you had a nice and enjoyable day. Mine was kinda busy with meetings and had dinner with the family, together with my parents. Though not a romantic one, it was fun..

Twin,
is it? Never mind, may be next year she will get over it, and enjoy the dance instead.

sfo,
Phew, at last, I'm back. Had a meeting the whole of last week. Thus, was out of office.

I'm glad that I'm back..
